Lanakila, a Big Island under-19 girls soccer club team, won the EMFC adidas Premier Cup on July 14 in Eugene, Ore. Lanakila will travel to San Diego today to compete in the Albion Cup National Soccer Showcase, which begins Friday and runs through Monday. More than 60 college coaches will attend. Lanakila members are: Jashea Leleiwi, Lolly Higa, Mika Bettencourt, Taylor Matas, Kailii Smith, Delcee Ramos, Mae Quiamas, Jordan Melchor, Bri Vallente, Harper Hottendorf, Emily Evans, Caili Ebaniz, Karissa Komo, Lexie Cuaresma, Gabrielle Ewing, Monica Carlos, Nanea Tavares and Taiana Tollestrop.
